9th September 2006 until Summer 2007
Ground Floor - Foyer and Caf This small exhibition explores the history of Preston’s First World War memorials and the personal stories of some of the men who died.  It marks the 80th anniversaries of the completion of the memorials which include the monument on the Market Square (now known as the Preston Cenotaph) and the Roll of Honour in the foyer of the Harris Library, Museum and Art Gallery.

Both memorials were designed by the architect Giles Gilbert Scott and funded entirely by public donations.
