Pete Flowers, Las calaveras y las flores (skulls and flowers), 2008
In recent years Pete Flowers has been increasingly inspired by South American imagery. Particularly influenced by Mexico’s Day of the Dead; colour, skeletons and flowers can be found in his paintings that are a celebration of life and making the most of the time we have. This exhibition features new work following a return visit by the artist to Mexico to further develop his practice and understanding of South American culture.
