Stairway
M6-M3 Unterwegs/Underway in Berlin is an international project sparked by a visit to Berlin made by The Cumbria Artists' Network. The exhibition shows the artists’ responses to Berlin on the 20th anniversary of the demolition of the Berlin Wall.
Contact was made with five German artists who will also play a part in the exhibition which will take place across two Preston venues; the Harris and the PR1 Gallery. Beginning in Lancaster and ending in the M3 Kunsthalle, Berlin, the exhibition will travel from the M6 motorway to the M3 gallery and marks a point when international projects and collaborations between the NW artists and Germany are ‘Underway’.
