Hayward Touring Curatorial Open
19th September – 12th November

Image
Quiet Revolution is an international group exhibition of low-tech sculptural works that question the way in which we interact with our surroundings.

Through what might be described as ‘sculptural doodles’ and curious reworkings of our everyday surroundings, the artists featured in Quiet Revolution explore how we can transform and are transformed by our environment.

The exhibition is curated by Chris Fite-Wassilak, winner of the inaugural Hayward Touring Curatorial Open. Artists include David Beattie, Margrét H. Blöndal, Alice Channer, Matt Calderwood, Hreinn Friðfinnsson, Mitzi Pederson and Joëlle Tuerlinckx. Quiet Revolution is the first exhibition in the
Hayward Touring Curatorial Open programme, which supports UK based curators in realising innovative contemporary art exhibitions. This year Chris Fite-Wassilak was chosen by a panel including curators from the Hayward Gallery, Milton Keynes Gallery, and the Harris Museum & Art Gallery.
