If you’re spending a day in Preston make sure you include a visit to the Harris Museum & Art Gallery. Whether you’re just passing and fancy something different to do or are planning to spend some time together as a family, we have plenty of activities to keep everyone busy. It’s not just about programmed events either – just turn up and enjoy a range of permanent activities available for families.

The Avenham and Miller park is just down the road and we’re a short bus ride away from other museums in the city, including the Museum of Lancashire, the National Football Museum, Queen’s Lancashire Regimental Museum and the Ribble Steam Railway so you can spend a whole day in the city.
