Be Inspired: Get Involved
The Friends of the Harris Museum & Art Gallery are committed to helping the museum to welcome and inspire visitors from Preston, the region and beyond, and to enrich the lives of its audiences. Our members enjoy a personal relationship with the museum and are amongst the museum’s most important supporters.
Funds raised by the Friends help ensure the continued conservation of the museum’s stimulating and varied collections for the benefit of 250,000 visitors each year. Exciting works of art, including Portrait of Richard Arkwright, have been purchased and made accessible to thousands of people through vital aid from the Friends.
Temporary exhibitions and family events have reached and inspired people from all over the region and beyond and received crucial Friends’ support.
