Follow the Yarn is an educational history website produced by the Harris. Its colourful and fun packed pages explore the history of Preston and the rise and fall of the cotton industry. Visitors to the website can learn about the history of Preston through a series of timelines including one on the famous Horrockses company. They can also weave their own cloth design on a virtual loom or become a Victorian journalist reporting on the important events of the day!
