What’s your story? What would you like to feature in one of our display cases?
We're offering local community groups the chance to be featured in the new history gallery, Discover Preston, to tell their stories about Preston, its culture and its communities.
There will be two opportunities per year to be featured in the ‘Changing Display Case’ which is found in the Discovery Room in the Discover Preston gallery.
Displays will be on show for circa three months and local groups can show their own collections, or can choose things from the Harris’ collection to bring their story to life.
This is a unique chance for local groups to work with museum staff and share ideas and skills. We will help groups to develop their story, put together their display, and then hold talks and activities that tell visitors more about their story and display.
