Harris Museum shop
The shop is a good resource for books on local history, and Art and Design topics. The shop sells postcards, pens, pencils and reasonably priced children’s gifts. You can also contact us to arrange themed souvenir bags for the class. Please ensure your class visits the shop in small, supervised groups.
Access
There is access to all areas of the museum and gallery except the Egyptian Balcony (however we do have an Egyptian Balcony touch screen audio visual located on the second floor). For further information about access click here. Please ring to discuss the special needs of your group.
Upon arrival
During the visit, teachers are responsible for their pupils and must stay with their group.
If you arrive early, please remain outside the Harris if possible and take charge of your group until the session begins.
Adult helpers
We ask that groups bring accompanying adults – please check local authority guidelines for the age and needs of your group.

We value your feedback and we would appreciate it if you would complete an evaluation form for your visit. If you have a group who have never visited the Harris previously, we can provide a special first visit tour.
