50 Years in the life of Preston Bus Station: Call out for objects

Object call out
We need your help for a new major exhibition in the autumn. Do you have keepsakes or items that connect you to the bus station - now or in the past?

We'd love to hear from anyone with a connection to the building. Perhaps you were involved in the construction and have photographs – or even objects (hardhats, tools, work gear) – that could be exhibited?

Did you work for one of the bus companies and still have a uniform, a lucky mascot or a bus station mug?

Perhaps you hung out at the station and met up with friends and still own a skateboard, clothing or a school bag from those days?

You are invited to come along to one of our object hand in dates.

Saturday 20 July
12noon - 4pm

Wednesday 24 July
5 -7.30pm

Friday 26 July
12noon -4pm

Your items can be everyday, one offs or quirky - we'd love to see them.

The Hand-In sessions are free and you can can just drop in.
